Pre-employment background check and drug screen required.Please send Resume to <a href=\"mailto:tory@brightpennybrewing.com\">tory@brightpennybrewing.com<\/a> to be considered for this position<\/p>\t\t\n\t\t<h3>\n\t\t\tBartender\n\t\t<\/h3>\n\t\t\t<p>We are currently in search of a friendly, knowledgeable, excellence-oriented bartender with a passion for people to join our team.\u00a0 Candidates must provide superior customer service to guests at Bright Penny Brewing.Responsibilities include but not limited to:<ul><li>Deliver a consistently high level of customer service to each client and maintain a safe environment<\/li><li>Maintain a clean bar area in accordance with the company&#8217;s guidelines as well as the requirements of the local health department<\/li><li>Practice proper sanitation procedures at all times<\/li><li>Identify problem or intoxicated clients and follow proper procedure per company policy<\/li><li>Engage with customers to educate them about the products we sell as well as our organization<\/li><li>Maintain an accurate cash drawer throughout the night and be able to account for any and all discrepancies in the final drawer tally<\/li><li>Pouring beer to the specified portion size in the correct glassware as outlined to control cost<\/li><li>Assist on the dining room floor as needed<\/li><li>Clean all dishes and glasses, including busing used glasses from tables on the floor<\/li><li>Assist the management team as needed with special events<\/li><li>Develop an efficient work pace that keeps Bright Penny&#8217;s patrons at the bar and in the dining room satisfied at all times<\/li><\/ul>Qualifications include:<ul><li>Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills<\/li><li>Must be outgoing, energetic, and have excellent communication skills<\/li><li>Previous bartending experience preferred<\/li><li>Open availability during nights, weekends, and holidays<\/li><li>Must be able to stand, walk, bend, twist, and kneel for duration of shift<\/li><li>Knowledge of craft beer industry is a plus but not required<\/li><\/ul>Duties include but not limited to:<\/p><ul><li>Completing opening, closing and side work assignments<\/li><li>Operate low temperature commercial dish washer according to proper procedure<\/li><li>Washing pots, pans and utensils in a 3-bay sink according to proper procedure<\/li><li>Following proper sanitation practices at all times<\/li><li>Providing assistance to prep cooks and other kitchen staff as needed, especially at peak times<\/li><li>Rotating dishes to avoid overuse or excessive wear and tear<\/li><li>Properly disposing of trash and recycling<\/li><li>Clean dish storage, trash receptacles and any other cleaning required cleaning assignments<\/li><li>Complete temperature logs for commercial dishwasher, 3-bay sink, etc.<\/li><li>Any assignments requested by the supervisors<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Career Opportunities Bright Penny Brewing is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to workforce diversity.\u00a0 M\/F\/D\/V are encouraged to apply.
